Handmade Wooden Stall Gate, Custom Built for Your Home

Our Handmade Wooden Stall Gate brings farmhouse character to doorways, hallways, and pet areas. Each solid wood gate is made to order in our Shelby, Ohio woodshop, with a width, height, and finish chosen for your space. Use it as a custom wooden pet gate or a decorative room divider that fits the rest of your home.

What Is Included?

Each quantity of 1 purchases ONE assembled wooden gate door. The listing photo showing two doors is an example of a two-door installation. To receive two doors, order quantity 2. Pricing and selected dimensions apply to each individual door, not the combined opening. Hinges, latches, tracks, rollers, screws, and other mounting hardware are not included.

Features and Finish Options

  • One custom wooden stall-style gate door per quantity ordered
  • Handcrafted from solid wood in Shelby, Ohio
  • Custom width and height selected for each individual door
  • Painted white, stained, or unfinished options
  • Assembled gate door; mounting and installation are completed by the customer
  • Natural wood grain and color variations make every gate individual
  • Hardware purchased separately to suit your installation

How to Measure Your Gate

Measure the clear opening at the top, middle, and bottom, including any trim or baseboards. Use the narrowest measurement when planning a hinged installation. Your selected dimensions describe the finished gate door itself. Allow clearance for the hinges, latch, floor, and swing according to your chosen hardware. Sliding installations require their own overlap and track clearances. Send your opening measurements, intended mounting method, and a photo before ordering if you need help confirming the finished door size. For a two-door installation, confirm the finished width of EACH door and the center clearance with us before ordering; do not select the full opening width for both doors.

How to Order

  1. Measure your opening and confirm the finished dimensions required for each door and your chosen hardware.
  2. Select the width range marked inches wide and the height range marked inches high for one door.
  3. Provide the exact finished door width, exact height, finish or stain color, and intended installation method in your order notes. If there is no notes box, send these details with your order number through our contact page.
  4. Choose quantity 1 for one door or 2 for two identical doors. Add different door sizes separately.
  5. For a pair, identify both doors as a matching set and confirm each panel's measurements with us before production.
  6. Review every size, finish, quantity, and custom detail before checkout. Contact us to resolve questions before placing your order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the price for one door or two?

The price is for ONE door. The two-door listing photo shows an installation using two gates. Order quantity 2 to receive two doors. Each door is priced separately.

What do the size selections mean?

Width selections end in “inches wide” and height selections end in “inches high.” They refer to each finished gate door. Choose the size range containing the finished dimensions you need and provide the exact measurements in your order notes.

How do I order a matching pair?

Does the wooden gate arrive assembled?

Yes. The gate door arrives assembled. You or your installer will need to mount it using hardware suitable for the gate, mounting surface, and intended use.
